As a Senior Publisher at Elsevier, Maggie manages a portfolio of high-impact international journals in the areas of Environmental Science & Agronomy, including the above-mentioned journal Environmental Science & Ecotechnology. Maggie is responsible for the product management of the journals and for the strategic development of the portfolio, including developing the portfolio via new launches and acquisitions such like a proprietary new title Smart Agricultural Technology and three titles partnership with societies acquired/launched in 2021 by Maggie. In addition, Maggie plays a key role to support outreach in China for the environmental science journal team in general and for the life science journal team during her secondment in 2022 via connecting with key societies, institutes, and organizations in relevant subject areas in China. Maggie has 10 years’ experience in scholarly publishing in various editorial and publishing roles cross over academic journals and books. In addition, in one of her previous roles, Maggie established and managed the APAC advisory board and reached number of strategic partnership agreements with key organizations in APAC and beyond.
